Webinars and Future Courses

Learning from internationally recognised experts in neonatal sepsis, today through webinars and, in the future, through structured courses.

Our Planned Webinar Programme

The Newborn Sepsis Society is developing a webinar programme led by invited speakers who are internationally recognised experts in neonatal sepsis. Each session will draw on clinical and research experience from around the world.

What the webinars will cover

The programme is planned around four main themes:

  • Prevention: infection prevention and control, maternal and newborn care practices, and strategies to reduce the burden of sepsis.
  • Diagnosis: recognising early signs, diagnostic approaches and the challenges of timely identification.
  • Treatment: antimicrobial therapy, supportive care and the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance.
  • Research: current evidence, emerging developments and priorities for future study.

Who the webinars are for

The sessions are intended for clinicians, nurses, midwives, researchers, students, public health professionals and anyone with a professional or personal interest in improving outcomes for newborns.

Upcoming Webinars

Details of confirmed webinars will be published on this page, including topics, invited speakers and their affiliations, dates, times and registration information.

No webinars have been confirmed yet. Please check back for announcements as the programme develops.

Possible Future Courses

Beyond webinars, the Society is considering developing longer, more structured educational courses. The areas below are possibilities under consideration. They are not yet confirmed, and their content, format and timing may change.
